Thank you Ellen, she is my world. She was hit in the eye with a softball & had to get checked out & we were referred to an eye doctor to make sure everything was ok. We found out she was nearsighted, just like all of my side of the fam & my hubby wears glasses too. So when we went to pick out a pair she picked the bright magenta glasses & i tried to talk her into wire frames that were a bit more muted. (Like the other girls wear in her class.) But she told me that she liked this pair & if she got teased, then that person isn't a good friend anyway. So she got the pair she wanted. She is a very secure little girl & I am so happy.

Ellen, I just posted a pic of my daughter on her first day of school too! The glasses were new over the summer so she was a bit anxious.
